Peaks n Valleys Photography was established in 2000 by Steve and Kathe Haake. After traveling the globe for over 20 years and visiting some of the most incredible landscapes on Earth, sharing them with the public was the next logical step.

We graduated from
UC Santa Barbara and married in 1971.
We took our first overseas trip to Europe in 1976 and have been travelling the world
ever since.

After five trips to Europe, having done the Cathedral tour of Italy, the Castle tour of Spain and the Ruins tour of Greece, they were ready for more of an adventure. In 1994 we went to Alaska. There we found wildlife and wilderness and realized it was time to change our focus.

Next stops were Tanzania, the Galapagos Islands, Australia, Nepal, India, Tibet and Bhutan - all this time making pictures.

In 2006 we visited our son Matthew in China.He was teaching English and American Culture for the Peace Corp.
Later in the year we traveled to Nebraska for the birth of our first grandchild Emma.

In 2009, we have a grandson, Evan
Now we live in Fort Collins, Colorado and we are rediscovering all the surrounding National Parks. Still taking pictures.
